For most of August and the first couple weeks of September I was in France, Spain, and Morocco. It was an incredible trip where I got to connect with Christians Surfers International folks, compete in 4 World Surf League World Qualifying Series events, and most importantly share the gospel with friends new and old. On this trip I was constantly reminded of the grace and love of God as I depended daily on him. It was so encouraging to me to see that when I have committed to living my life for God, he has constantly brought people into my path that I have been able to share the message of Christ’s love with. 1 Corinthians 3:6 says, “I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.” I am reminded by this verse to continue sharing my faith in Christ through the things I say and do, but to remember that ultimately it is God who draws people to himself. I encourage you to remember this as well. Sharing your faith is not about clever words or baiting and switching, but about simply letting people see Christ in you through the way you live, and letting God do the changing of hearts.

I am now back home for a couple weeks with my family in South Carolina, and am headed back to California soon! Stay tuned for more!
