Ephesians 3:20-21

20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

This week I am traveling in the New Jersey and New York for a couple contests. It has been an answered prayer to get to travel with fellow believers in Christ on this trip. I am with Nestor Wagner, the ASP Chaplain for the east coast, and Jair Perez from Costa Rica who is also competing. Our first stop was in Belmar, NJ where I competed in the ASP Mens Pro and Pro Junior. I did not do well, as I had hoped to, but I am daily being reminded of the reason I am traveling on the contest tour in the first place. To love God, and his people, sharing the Love and truth of Jesus Christ. I am thankful for the opportunity to compete and get better, I am training daily to improve my surfing and serve the Lord whole heartedly where He has me today.

We now are in New York for the Unsound Pro in Long Beach, Long Island. I got to explore the city for the first time yesterday, it was an awesome experience. One highlight of the day was meeting a college student in the subway, and before departing, Nestor, Jair, and I got to pray with him and his friend. As we said goodbye, with tears in his eyes he thanked us, and expressed how loved he felt by our conversation, we shared that that love is Jesus Christ. It was an awesome reminder to me that in the midst of the chaos of the city, or the chaos of life, when you submit your every step to God, he will use you in ways beyond what you can imagine.
